Born on the busy streets of Taipei on May 30, 2007, katncandix2 are formed by male guitarist-composer-producer Sheng Zhe and female vocalist-lyricist Xiao Qiu. The street musicians released their first EP "2375" the next year to great critical acclaim, and now, almost two years since its debut, the Taiwan indie group has come up with its first full-length album. The charm of katncandix2 lies in their simple lyrics and lovely melody lines, as the beautiful sound of Sheng Zhe's acoustic guitar fused with Xiao Qiu's natural vocals to give their urban folk music healing qualities.
